• Birmingham Town Hall

    Acclaimed as the finest music hall in the country when it first opened in 1834, Birmingham Town Hall underwent an extensive £34million programme of restoration & conservation.

    Stonewest meticulously scheduled £4million worth of stone repairs which required up to 30 masons and carvers, making this one of the largest stone masonry repair jobs in Europe at the time.

  • Cowdray Ruins, Midhurst

    Classified as "a building at risk" and in an area with “Schedule Ancient Monument Status”, Cowdray Tudor Mansion had been made inaccessible due to falling masonry. 

    Stonewest, working with their sister company St. Blaise, won the 2 year contract carrying out meticulous award winning conservation repairs allowing this 16th century building to  re-open to the public, now both a visitor attraction and education facility.

A complex multidiscipline contract involving extensive refurnishment and redevelopment of the internal space and external facades in order to upgrade the original listed building following a change of use.
