Description
Cleaning and repair of existing white Bianco Carrara and Pentelican marble to the basement swimming pool and Turkish baths, plunge pool and treatment rooms.
The works involved:
- Refurbishment works included the reuse of much of the original material plus designing, manufacturing and installation of new material comprising:
- Recording, removal and storage and re-fix existing cladding
- New floors to falls in wet rooms but level in dry areas
- New Marble clad walls
- Treads and risers fitted with anti-slip inserts
- New Vanity units and make-up counters
- All areas were finished with marble skirtings and architraves
- New linking marble staircases
- Stones used include: -
- White Carrara
- Verdi Guatamala
- Botticino
- Pentelican
- Mosaics
- Finishes range from polished to sand blasted.
